This summer, I spent a month in Peru to study video storytelling and global reporting. I produced a human-interest story about the 250-plus abandoned cat population in Miraflores, Lima, and how volunteers are working to get these felines off the streets and into homes. Additionally, I helped create video content for a segment of WCVB's Chronicle, which aired in September.
